Francisco Meirino es un artista sonoro que reside en Lausanne, Suiza que trabaja en el campo de la música experimental desde 1994, editando más de 50 discos y se ha presentado en Europa, Japón y Norte América.
Meirino está interesado en los sonidos fallidos que provengan de máquinas, sistemas de sonido, detectores de campos magnéticos y ruidos electro-estáticos. Para ello trabaja con el computador, magnetófono de bobina abierta, transductor piezoeléctrico, sintetizador modular, grabador de campo, dispositivos electrónicos caseros y sensores electro magnéticos.
'An Extended Meaning For Something Meaningless' es una composición minimal a partir de sonidos de la estática, cintas fallidas, la mezcla de experimentos de cintas y sinte modular, junto a grabaciones de campo no procesadas y sonidos de alcantarilla a través de hidrófonos.
Los tres temas de este disco es experimentación pura, ruidos abstractos y electrizantes.

Francisco Meirino is a sound artist based in Lausanne, Switzerland working in the experimental music field since 1994, releasing more than 50 albums and performing in Europe, Japan and North America.
Meirino is interested in sounds from failed machines, sound systems, magnetic field detectors and electro-static noise. For this he is working with computer, reel-to-reel audio tape recording, piezo transducer, modular synthesizer, field recorder, home made electronics devices and electro magnetic sensors.
'An Extended Meaning For Something Meaningless' is a minimal compositions from sounds from static, failed tapes experiments alongside modular synths, with unprocessed field recordings and hydrophonics sewer recordings.
The three tracks of this album is pure experimental music, abstract and electrifying sounds.
