David Cordero & dot & tape dot | “Seep” | Plop / Nature Bliss | 2017

Los españoles David Cordero y David Romero aka dot tape dot componen ocho piezas electrónicas del género ambient.
Ambos por separado desde los ’90 vienen incursionando en la música editando en los sellos Acuarela, Nature Bliss y Home Normal.
El primer tema “Trickle” ya nos adelante que estamos frente a un trabajo delicado con sinuosas notas sintéticas que despliega sus alas con bellas melodías ambientales. “Doom glissade” esparce pequeñas gotas que parecen campanillas que tintinean en el espacio. Finas capas que se desenvuelven en loops interminables.
La música del dúo tiene algo al magnetismo de Isan y sus sutiles melodías y las microscópicas notas, atisbos a lo que hace Federico Durand. De este modo reúnen influencias de la electrónica de los ’90 y la de estos días.
“Seep” se recomienda escucharlo frente a un bello paisaje con un par de audífonos y solo dejarse llevar por sus armonías. Ciertamente inspiradora.

Spaniards David Cordero and David Romero aka dot tape dot make up eight electronic ambient pieces.
Both separately since the '90s are foray into music releasing on Acuarela, Nature Bliss and Home Normal.
The first song "Trickle" already let us know that we are facing a delicate work with sinuous synthetic notes that unfolds its wings with beautiful ambience melodies. "Doom glissade" scatters small drops that look like chimes that clink into space. Thin layers that unfold in endless loops.
The music of the duo has something of English duo Isan’s magnetism and its subtle melodies and microscopic notes, glimpses to Federico Durand’ music. In this way they gather influences of 90’s and nowadays electronica.
"Seep" is recommended to listen to it in front of a beautiful landscape with some headphones and just be carried away by its harmonies. Inspiring!
