Sara Oswald, nacida en Suiza, está formada en chelo barroco y se ha desplegado en presentaciones en vivo con foco en la música de improvisación, además de su trabajo en solitario, participa en bandas de pop-rock y electro, entre otros estilos. Feldermelder es compositor, diseñador de sonido suizo que trabaja como artista sonoro y músico electrónico. Además compone para cine y teatro y es cofundador de -OUS y parte de Encor.studio, un colectivo de artistas que se especializan en crear instalaciones audiovisuales inmersivas. 

Esta es su tercera colaboración, luego de “Hidden In Kaoris Castle” (-OUS, 2021) y "Drawn" (-OUS, 2021).

La apertura con “Transpersonal Source” comienza con una electrónica flotante donde predominan las líneas sintetizadas ambientales además de glitches y otros efectos. Cuando emergen los sonidos orquestales estos invitan a observar el cielo y su inmensidad dejándose llevar por las notas nostálgicas del chelo procesadas. “Everything Vibrating Is An Illusion” es un diálogo entre el punteo de cuerdas del chelo y varias capas de sonidos digitales que se transforman en “The Light Turn Of The Immeasurable” en amorfas y densas nubes de polvo cósmico. En “Continuous Ambivalent Conversations” Sara Oswald navega con su arco por un mar de bellas notas que evocan un paisaje idílico. “Memories Of Essential Ignorances” cierra este álbum con una atmósfera impenetrable y oscura que es congruente con el título del track y también de otros en este disco, que refiere a relaciones humanas confusas y ambiguas.

Sara Oswald, born in Switzerland is trained in baroque cello and has been deployed in live performances with a focus on improvisational music, in addition to her solo work, she contributes in pop-rock and electro bands, among other styles. Feldermelder is a Swiss composer, sound designer who works as a sound artist and electronic musician. He also composes for film and theater and is co-founder of -OUS and part of Encor.studio, a collective of artists who specialize in creating immersive audiovisual installations.

This is their third collaboration after “Hidden In Kaoris Castle” (-OUS, 2021) and “Drawn” (-OUS, 2021).

The opener “Transpersonal Source” begins with hovering electronics dominated by ambient synthesized lines as well as glitches and other effects. When the orchestral sounds emerge, invite you to observe the sky and its immensity, letting yourself be carried away by the nostalgic notes of the processed cello. “Everything Vibrating Is An Illusion” is a dialogue between the plucking of the cello strings and several layers of digital sounds that are transformed on “The Light Turn Of The Immeasurable”, into amorphous and dense clouds of cosmic dust. On “Continuous Ambivalent Conversations” Sara Oswald navigates with her bow through a sea of beautiful notes that evoke an idyllic landscape. “Memories Of Essential Ignorances” closes this album with an impenetrable and dark atmosphere that is congruent with the title of the track and also others on this album, which refers to confused and ambiguous human relationships.
