Melmac es un dúo francés compuesto por los hermanos Reverter que fue fundado en 1998 con tres álbumes a la fecha, cuatro EP’s y temas incluidos en compilados, ellos editados en sellos independientes y en su propio sello Ronda. Melmac parecerá con un tema en el próximo ‘The Wire Tapper 25’ que viene en el número de abril de la revista. “Le désert Avance” fue editado en vinilo junto a una copia en CD. En este disco se aprecian densas atmósferas construidas por efectos en las guitarras eléctricas, produciendo ribetes afilados, una sostenida muralla de ruido y voces traslapadas fuertemente procesadas. In this album dense atmospheres are created made out of electric guitar effects, producing sharp riffs, sustained wall of noise, and overlapping voices heavily processed.
