Esta es una colaboración entre los artistas sonoros Rutger Zuydervelt aka Machinefabriek residente en Rotterdam, Holanda y Marc Chia aka One Man Nation de Singapur quien comparte su tiempo entre Asia y Europa y dirige el espacio de arte experimental ‘The Unifiedfield’ en Granada, España. Este mini álbum de tres temas, el primero de ello ‘Live’ es una presentación en vivo realizada en diciembre de 2011 en la sala Bimhuis en Ámsterdam, en el marco del festival ‘The Future Sounds of Folk’. ‘Live’ es juna combinación de electrónica minimalista y sonidos orgánicos con objetos metálicos al parecer, que despliega resonancia en todo el espacio. ‘MF Remix’ a cargo de Zuydervelt sostiene una base de drones juntos microscópicos sonidos y en el último tema, ‘OMN Remix’ con Marc Chia, mezcla los arreglos electrónicos, con un carácter más rítmico y antes de finalizar, emerge una bella voz asiática que podría haberse extendido. www.machinefabriek.nu y www.theunifiedfield.org Guillermo Escudero Mayo 2012		This is a collaboration between sound artists Rutger Zuydervelt aka Machinefabriek based in Rotterdam and Marc Chia aka One Man Nation of Singapore who shares his time between Asia and Europe and co-runs ‘The Unifiedfield’, an experimental art space in Granada, Spain. This mini album consist in three tracks, the first one 'Live', is a live performance at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam in the context of the festival ‘The Future Sounds of Folk’ festival in December 2011. ‘Live’ is a combination of minimal electronics and organic sounds with metalic objects, quite subtle, which deploy resonance to the space. Zuydervelt’s ‘MF Remix’ is a drone based along microscopic sounds and the last one Marc Chia’s ‘OMN Remix’ combines electronic arrangements, with a more rhythmic character and before finishing the track, emerges beautiful feminine Asian vocals that could have been extended. www.machinefabriek.nu and www.theunifiedfield.org Guillermo Escudero May 2012
