Call Back The Giants está formado por Tim Goss ex miembro de The Shadow Ring y Chloe Mutter quienes debutan en 2010 con su LP homónimo y ese mismo año con el 7" 'Call Back The Giants', un año más tarde autoeditaron su cassette 'At Cafe OTO, London' en 2011, luego 'The Rising' (2011), 'Incidents Of Travel' (2012) y este año ‘The Marianne’ LP con carátula diseñada por Chloe Mutter. La mayoría de los discos están editados en el sello Kye Records del ex The Shadow Ring, Graham Lambkin. ‘The Mariannne’ consta de tres partes que tienen un aire cinemática y atmósfera oscura e inquietante y cuya narrativa hace referencia a un viaje en el barco Bounty en el que iba el Capitán inglés Christian Fletcher, quien junto a otros amotinados siguieron viaje a Tahiti. Grabaciones de gaviotas y un perro que ladra a lo lejos son el preámbulo a lo que parece ser una melódica y ondulantes notas del sintetizador tanto melódicas como disonantes. El lado B arranca con una atmósfera bizarra, junto a una voz diabólica y ritmo pulsante algo bailable. Luego surgen los sintetizadores con sus capas ambientales que flotan en el aire. A year later they self-released 'At Cafe OTO, London' on cassette format in 2011, then 'The Rising' LP (2011), 'Incidents Of Travel' 12" (2012) and this year 'The Marianne' LP with Chloe Mutter-designed sleeve. Most of these releases are published on Kye Records which is run by former The Shadow Ring Graham Lambkin. 'The Mariannne' consists of three parts that deploys a cinematic ambience and a dark and haunting atmosphere. The narrative refers to a trip on the Bounty ship in which English Captain Christian Fletcher, who along with other mutineers continued travelling to Tahiti. Recordings of seagulls and a barking dog in the distance are the preamble to what appears to be a melancholic melodica and synth wave forms both melodic and dissonant and even with a romantic nuance. The B side starts with a bizarre atmosphere, along with a haunting voice and a beat pulsating rhythm. Then emerge the synths with ambient layers that float through the air.
