Roberto Opalio | 'Aurora Coelestis' | Opax Records | 2014

Roberto Opalio is an Italian musician and visual artist who is part of My Cat Is An Alien alongside his brother Maurizio. Roberto has released solo albums on Foxglove, Elliptical Noise, OPAX and Important Records labels.
'Aurora Coelestis' comprise two songs and is the first record of this artist which is published on LP format.
'Aurora Coelestis' that opens this LP starts with tinkling glockenspiel with an underground synth and drone like a metal tube disappearing into the depths.
'Hic et Nunc' displays a series of wave-like sounds whose backdrop is the processed voice which is modulated at different pitches.
'Aurora Coelestis' is a minimalist work that meets the beautiful glockenspiel bright hues and the experimentation of spectral analog sounds.
