E Gone | ‘Advice to Hill Walkers’ | Zeon Light | 2015

E Gone | ‘Advice to Hill Walkers’ | Zeon Light | 2015

Canciones como ‘Your Goal Is To Know Everything And Say Nothing’ me recuerdan a aquellas grabaciones de grupos psicodélicos de Asia que edita el sello Sublime Frequencies.
‘Bring Ice Axe And Rope’ sugiere un ritmo hipnótico y ‘Record The Humming of Melodious Caves’ continúa con este baile pegadizo y cálido.

E Gone is the  solo project of Swedish artist Daniel Westerlund who is based in Stockholm. He is also a member of The Gone, a five member band.
‘Advice to Hill Walkers’ is the new E Gone’s installment released on cassette format by Swedish Zeon Light imprint that consist in 10 songs that combine Middle East melodies and psychedelia.
Organ, guitar, zither, percussion are Westerlund’s instrumental basis displayed on this record.
Songs like ‘Your Goal Is To Know Everything And Say Nothing’' remind me of those recordings of Asian psychedelic bands released by Sublime Frequencies label.
'Find New Methods for Compass Use’ starts with a recording of a storm and rain and a single, oscillating organ note which sustains producing a trance-inducing drone.
‘Bring Ice Axe And Rope’ suggests a hypnotic rhythm and 'Record The Humming of Melodious Caves' continues on with this catchy dance floor.
Close this album 'Reach The Summit, Egg!' with slow and haunting rhythm.,,,
