Este es el álbum debut de este músico y artista sonoro residente en Portland, Oregon que fuera editado el año pasado por Locust Music en formato vinilo.
"Ceiling Songs" son tres largos temas que se desarrollan a partir de sonidos encontrados que son manipulados digitalmente. Algunos de los "instrumentos" utilizados por Rose es un piano de juguete y una caja musical que contiene la composición infantil "Jingle Bells".
En este disco sobre una base de drones y atmósferas ambient, se incorporan sonidos concretos, junto a una aproximación electroacústica que conlleva texturas sucias.
En este disco se advierte una gran sensiblidad por aquellos timbres sutiles que muestran la inocencia como una perspectiva.

This is the debut album of musician and sound artist Ethan Rose based in Portland, Oregon which was originally released on Locust Music on vinyl.
Ceiling Songs are three long tracks that unfold from found sounds that are manipulated digitally. Some of the ‘instruments' is a piano roll and ‘Jingle Bells' playing music box.
In this album with drones as a backdrop and ambient atmospheres are incorporated concrete sounds with an electroacoustic approach that brings dusted textures.
On this CD it can be noticed that a great sensibility for those subtle timbres that showcase the innocence as an overlook.
