Michael Santos es un artista del Reino Unido que acaba de editar su tercer álbum. La primera que le conocí fue con su disco “Matters” (Bembecula, 2006) cual era más orientado al ritmo.
Ahora con “The Happy..." es súper texturado con capas de glitch, sutiles melodías, sonidos craqueados, drones y toda esta amalgama de sonidos sintéticos produce ensoñadores paisajes sonoros.
Uno de los temas más destacados es “Returning Champion” envuelto en pequeñas piezas con destellantes timbres y bellas armonías.

UK artist Michael Santos released his third album. The first time I listened to Santos’s music was with his ‘Matters’ album (Bembecula, 2006) which was more rhythmically orientated.
Now ‘The Happy…’ is completely textured with layers of bits of glitch, subtle melodies, crackle sounds, drones and all this amalgam of sounds produce mesmerizing soundscapes.
One the most notable songs is ‘Returning Champion’ wrapped on tiny pieces of twinkling timbres and gorgeous harmonies.
