Con diferentes cacareos de gallinas revoloteando aparentemente en un mercado abierto, es lo que abre “Generic City” que fue un trabajo colaborativo entre Danielle Baquet-Long y Will Long como Celer y el artista japonés nacido en Iwate y ahora residente en Tokio. “Generic City” está masterizado por el director del sello 12k y artista sonoro and Taylor Deupree y consiste en cuatro largos temas en los que Onodera utiliza sonidos ambientales, electrónica, guitarra, violín, piano, y caja musical, en tanto que Danielle and Will usan la mesa de mezclas, chelo, violín, piano, registros de campo, Teremin, electrónica y ocarina. Una variedad de instrumentos que son procesados formando gruesas capas de sonidos minimal. Las grabaciones de campo en “Generic City” invitan al oyente a un viaje a la cultura asiática con sus cánticos mantra en tanto que en el fondo, se despliega una sostenida línea de drones. www.singularwe.org/twoacorns Guillermo Escudero Diciembre 2010		With different kinds of chickens rumbling in an apparently open market, “Generic City” was a collaborative project between Danielle Baquet-Long and Will Long as Celer and Japan’s artist born in Iwate and now based in Tokyo. “Generic City” mastered by renowned head of minimal 12k label and sound artist Taylor Deupree consists in four long tracks in which Onodera uses environmental sound, electronics, guitar, violin, piano, and musical box, and Danielle and Will play mixing board, cello, violin, piano, field recordings, Theremin, electronics and ocarina.
