Joe Frawley | '13 Houses and The Mermaid' | Time Released Sound | 2012

‘I Have a Hard Time Talking About The House’ vuelve a la melodía del primer tema de bella melodía y atmósfera inquietante.

Joe Frawley is an experimental composer and pianist who works in New London, Connecticut and combines neo-classical music and electronic experimentation.
He has released 11 albums so far along with a self made manufacturing.
On '13 Houses and The Mermaid’ he plays piano, processed found sounds and use field recordings, Greg Conte guitar, electronic drums and cymbals, Melanie Skriabine, voice and Rachel Rambach in additional voice.
Frawley plays a sound collage of voices, wind instruments, glitches, bird songs, and urban sounds. On 'One' appears a frightened girl’s voice, running away from something or someone while overlook beautiful piano notes, showing a curious counterpoint. ’13 Houses’ looks like a ballet class with sounds a bit saturated. 'Some Kind of Womb' keeps the cinematic nature of the album and 'The Mermaid' has a more electronic approach, with voices suggesting that intersect the plot of a movie… 'I Have a Hard Time Talking About the House' returns to the melody of the first song that comes together with a beautiful melody and a haunting atmosphere.
