Experience a perfect cup of barista-level coffee with BALMUDA's first ever coffee machine, The Brew. Developed over the course of six years, BALMUDA's Clear Brewing Method features precise temperature control, timed drip increments and pouring speed, as well as a BALMUDA exclusive Bypass Pouring technology that adds a separate finishing water to your brew for a clean aftertaste without compromising flavor. Easy to use and maintain, select between Regular, Strong, or Ice mode settings and desired cup size, to consistently make the perfect cup of coffee for yourself and another. Its open-drip design lets you savor the brewing process, and an illuminating light followed by a gentle tune will signal when the brewing is done. At just over five inches wide, The Brew is compact, made to brew single cups of coffee (its capacity is just 2 standard U.S. cups!) and designed to be an elegant addition to your counter space and kitchen. If you've ever wished you could have a coffee shop experience in the comfort of your home, this machine can quickly get you there.

While The Brew was previously available only in Japan, BALMUDA launches 'The Brew' in the U.S. May 18th, 2023. Previous models prior to this date are specific to Japanese consumers with different voltage and power cord, and without an English manual or warranty. We do not recommend the Japanese version of The Brew for U.S. consumers.

Originally a rock musician, BALMUDA founder Gen Terao studied design and manufacturing before launching BALMUDA in Tokyo in 2003. Though utilizing new technology is a prominent part of the brand, its DNA is grounded in Terao's life experiences and travels.
