You're invited to join us for our latest Goldbelly LIVE! cook-along: pasta-making with the NYC establishment, I Trulli! A landmark of Italian fine dining since it opened its doors in 1994, I Trulli is still family-owned & operated by the Marzovilla family, with all pastas handmade daily by none other than Nonna Dora, the matriarch of the Marzovillas. For this interactive event, Nonna Dora will be teaching you how to shape I Trulli's famous Malloreddus, a Sardinian gnocchi-style pasta, prepared with a classic sausage saffron ragù to recreate the flavors of the trattoria from home. Nonna Dora & the team at I Truilli have put together a delicious meal kit reflecting their Italian roots, from appetizers to dessert: including snacks of Prosciutto di Parma, Pecorino del Chianti & I Trulli's famous house-baked bread to start off, pre-mixed saffron malloreddus dough with a saffron, sausage & tomato ragù along with a rigagnocchi to shape the pasta at home, followed by some classic biscotti to finish off the meal.
