Angel Simitchiev aka Angel S. de Sofia, Bulgaria, lanza su proyecto Born Erased con su álbum debut “I Am The End Of The World”, editado por BLWBCK de Toulouse, Francia, sello que publicó un disco en 2013 con su ya desaparecido seudónimo como Mytrip, con el que publicó ocho discos en Bandcamp. Simitchiev es co-fundador del sello Amek Collective que tiene interesantes referencias como Valance Drakes.
Colaboran en este disco Moss Harvest en cintas y texturas, V0LAND en violonchelo y Boris Malevanov (Nocktern, Heptagram) en percusión, fusionándose a la perfección con un denso tapiz de sonidos.
Este álbum que navega entre el dark ambient y el drone consiste en siete pistas, abriendo con “Seven Stages of Hatred” que destaca a Moss Harvest en la manipulación de cintas y las capas brumosas que despliegan una aura oscura y penetrante. “Iron Skin” con sus atmósferas etéreas y vacilantes, dan paso a pesados golpes de la batería. Mineral Angst presenta a V0LAND con su chelo esparciendo verdaderas sesiones de cuerdas fuertemente procesadas, en las que emerge una melodía épica, para finalizar con cristalinos acordes aéreos. En “The White Fingers Of Sleep” los sintetizadores de bordes oscuros crean una ambientación intrigante que deja en suspenso al oyente, quien espera que un sonido aplastante pueda emerger en cualquier momento. ”Melting Lungs” muestra un ambient oscuro que comienza al borde del silencio, en el que luego las texturas electrónicas navegan con cierto sosiego. “Embalmed In Concrete” hace referencia a la portada del disco que devela una cabeza cubierta de material de concreto, desplegando un plácido paisaje ambiental envuelto en un coro de voces flotantes. “Their Tongues Turned Black” finaliza un álbum que guarda un buen equilibrio entre el cautivante y oscuro espacio sonoro y aquellos territorios más complacientes.

In “The White Fingers Of Sleep” dark-edged synths create an intriguing ambience that leaves the listener in suspense, waiting for an overwhelming sound to emerge at any moment. ”Melting Lungs” shows a dark atmosphere that begins on the edge of silence, in which the electronic textures then hover into a certain calmness. “Embalmed In Concrete” refers to the album’s art cover that reveals a head covered in concrete material, unfolding a placid ambient landscape wrapped in a chorus of floating voices. “Their Tongues Turned Black” concludes an album that maintains a good balance between the captivating and dark sound space and those more accommodating territories.
