Ian Hawgood dirige y es curador de Home Normal, etiqueta que reúne a una interesante camada de artistas del ambient, además de ser uno de los ingenieros de masterización más solicitados. Su extensa discografía incluye trabajos en solitario y una larga lista de colaboraciones.
Por su parte, David Cordero es un prolífico músico de Cádiz con un importante bagaje musical junto a una extensa discografía que comprende sus propios trabajos y colaboraciones con innumerables artistas.
En el pasado año este fue el primer (y único) álbum colaborativo para el que Ian creó algunas partes, después de que vendiera casi todo su equipo de estudio. En este contexto, David animó a Ian para que sólo utilizara el instrumento, Hohner Pianet y que este último grabó en cinta utilizando el mínimo de dispositivos electrónicos. Las piezas se realizaron durante el período de rehabilitación de Ian, tiempo en el cual Cordero trabaja estas grabaciones en su equipo modular.
Y entramos al mundo contemplativo de “Wild Air” en el que encontramos delicadas y frágiles melodías que evocan los sueños, la naturaleza, pensamientos meditativos y el sentido de pertenencia, todo ello confabula para que salgan a relucir las sobrias armonías del Hohner Pianet junto a las brillantes notas sintetizadas.
“Wild Air” devela la sensibilidad de ambos músicos por los arreglos minimalistas y crear íntimas y meditativas atmósferas.

For his part, David Cordero is a prolific musician from Cádiz with an important musical background along with an extensive discography that includes his own works and collaborations with countless artists.
In the past year this was the first (and only) collaborative album for which Ian created parts, after he sold almost all of his studio equipment. In this context, David encouraged Ian to only use the instrument Hohner Pianet, and which the latter recorded on tape using a minimum of electronic devices. The pieces were made during a period of Ian’s rehabilitation and during this time Cordero worked on these recordings on his modular equipment.
And we enter the contemplative world of “Wild Air” in which we find delicate and fragile melodies that evoke dreams, nature, meditative thoughts and the sense of belonging, all of which conspires to bring out the Hohner Pianet sober harmonies along with the glistening synthesized notes.
